Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia clinched a historic gold medal in the Women’s 100 meters final, clocking an impressive time of 10.72 seconds at the Olympic Games. Mujinga Kambundji of Switzerland finished sixth with a time of 10.99 seconds, while Jamaica’s Natasha Morrison and Marie-Josée Ta Lou of Côte d’Ivoire rounded out the field with times of 11.04 seconds and 13.84 seconds, respectively.
