STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut’s Student Athlete Success Program (SASP) has named four student-athletes as Husky High Five recipients for April, recognizing their excellence in academics, leadership, and personal growth.
The monthly award celebrates UConn athletes who show exceptional commitment to success in the classroom, on the field, and in service to others.
According to SASP, honorees are selected for achieving significant academic progress while demonstrating resilience, leadership, and personal development.
The April Husky High Five awardees are:
- Cameron Didion, Women’s Tennis
- Kevin Fitzgerald, Men’s Hockey
- Jaylin Stewart, Men’s Basketball
- Maresa Hense, Women’s Track & Field
Each student-athlete was selected for their hard work and dedication in balancing the demands of Division I athletics with academic excellence and community leadership. The award aims to spotlight students who continue to grow and succeed despite facing various challenges throughout the semester.
