West Haven, CT — A Cash5 player walked away with a $100,000 jackpot on Tuesday, March 11, securing the eighth grand prize win of the year.

The winning numbers—1, 10, 11, 15, and 23—matched a single ticket purchased at Oceanview Fine Wine & Spirits on Jones Hill Road in West Haven.

The year’s jackpot streak began on Jan. 2, when a ticket sold at Sully’s Mobil Mart in New London struck gold with numbers 3, 4, 6, 11, and 25.

Just days later, on Jan. 8, another $100,000 win came from Express Fuels & Food Mart in Danbury with the numbers 2, 10, 15, 27, and 28.

January continued its lucky streak on the 16th, when Jimmie’s Market in Danbury sold a winning ticket with numbers 7, 11, 17, 23, and 29.

February saw a rare split jackpot on the 8th, with two players sharing $86,297 each on matching tickets sold in Bridgeport and Middlebury.

Later, on Feb. 21, a $100,000 ticket was sold at Citgo in Hamden, followed by another jackpot on Feb. 26 at Uptown News & Variety in Bridgeport.

Tuesday’s win at Oceanview Fine Wine & Spirits adds another name to the growing list of 2025’s Cash5 winners, proving once again that lightning does strike twice—or eight times—across Connecticut.
