Bridgeport, CT – Bridgeport Public Library (BPL) is launching a series of community forums in April to gather public input for its new strategic plan, aiming to shape library services for the coming years.

The forums, set to take place at each library branch, will provide residents an opportunity to voice their ideas and concerns. A virtual session is scheduled for April 3 at 6 p.m. for those unable to attend in person.

“It is very important that we hear from as many residents as possible as we plan what future library services will look like,” said City Librarian Elaine Braithwaite. “We have introduced some very popular services and programs since I came to the library, and we have opened new library branches, but I am very interested in having community conversations about what our residents like about the library, and what they want to see. There is always room for improvement.”
