COLCHESTER, CT — Detectives with the Eastern District Major Crimes Squad arrested 46-year-old Daniel Carmody on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m. in connection with a sexual assault investigation originating in Colchester.
Carmody, born November 25, 1978, was taken into custody on an active warrant following what authorities described as a lengthy investigation.
He was transported to Troop K for booking and faces the following charges:
