Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia clinched first place in the Women’s 100m Semifinal 2 with an impressive time of 10.84 seconds. Sha’Carri Richardson from the United States secured second place, finishing closely behind at 10.89 seconds. Both athletes have successfully advanced to the next round, demonstrating their exceptional speed and competitive edge.

The semifinal also featured strong performances from G. Bass of Gambia, who finished third with a time of 11.10 seconds, and P. van der Weken from Luxembourg, who came in fourth at 11.13 seconds. Unfortunately, S.A. Fraser-Pryce from Jamaica did not start (DNS).

This result sets the stage for an exciting final round, with Alfred and Richardson leading the pack.
