Meriden, CT — A man accused of public indecency at the Meriden Train Station in November 2024 was arrested months later on an unrelated charge before authorities linked him to the initial incident, according to Connecticut State Police.
The case began on the morning of November 6, 2024, when CT Rail Security alerted State Police Transportation Troopers from Troop H – Hartford to a man allegedly urinating and engaging in lewd behavior inside the station’s lobby. By the time troopers arrived, the suspect had already fled.
Investigators, working with the Meriden Police Department, identified the suspect as Justin Robinson, born January 23, 2002. Authorities secured an arrest warrant through Meriden Superior Court.
On March 1, 2025, at 10:02 AM, Meriden police took Robinson into custody on an unrelated matter. After his arrest, officers discovered the outstanding warrant from State Police and transferred him to Troop H’s custody.
Robinson faces multiple charges, including criminal mischief in the third degree (C.G.S. 53a-117), disorderly conduct (C.G.S. 53a-182), and public indecency (C.G.S. 53a-186).
He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear before Meriden Superior Court on March 19, 2025.
