Bridgeport Public Schools open dialogue on key education plans

Bridgeport Public Schools will host a public forum on Feb. 19 to discuss its six-month strategic plan with parents and educators.

Bridgeport, CT – Bridgeport Public Schools is inviting parents, educators, and community members to a public forum on Tuesday, Feb. 19, to discuss the district’s six-month strategic plan under the leadership of Interim Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery.

The event, set to take place at Black Rock Library from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., will provide an open platform for direct community engagement, allowing attendees to voice their concerns, ask questions, and share insights on the district’s direction.

With Dr. Avery at the helm, the district is expected to outline key initiatives and priorities aimed at addressing academic performance, resource allocation, and overall school improvements.

The forum underscores the administration’s commitment to transparency and collaboration, ensuring that decisions are made with input from the people who matter most—students, parents, and teachers.

The event will be held at Black Rock Library, 2705 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06605.
