Cheickna Traore Wins Men’s 200m at NCAA Championships with Sub-20 Second Performance

Cheickna Traore from Côte d’Ivoire made headlines on June 7, 2024, by winning the men’s 200m race at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Traore clocked a remarkable time of 19.95 seconds, securing his place as the fastest in the event. Trailing him were Robert Gregory from the USA, who finished in 20.08 seconds, and Ghana’s Saminu Abdul-Rasheed, who set a personal best of 20.12 seconds.
