Hartford, CT – The Hartford Yard Goats are inviting talented vocalists to audition for the opportunity to perform the U.S. National Anthem at Dunkin’ Park during the 2025 baseball season.

Aspiring singers can audition in person on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dunkin’ Park, home of the Yard Goats, a Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Limited audition slots are available, and participants must register in advance by completing an official audition form.

Audition process and requirements

  • Each performance must be 2 minutes or less, adhering to anthem performance guidelines.
  • Pre-registration is required, and participants will be assigned a time slot based on availability.
  • Audition time slots will be confirmed via email one week before the audition date.
  • Singers must arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in.

For those unable to attend in person, the Yard Goats are also opening an alternative audition method.

Virtual submissions are accepted via a full video posted in the comments section of the team’s official audition announcement.

The video with the most likes by March 3 will earn a chance to perform live at a future game.

Selection process and scheduling

The Hartford Yard Goats retain full discretion over final anthem performer selections and scheduling.

According to the Yard Goats, auditioning does not guarantee a game-day performance, and even selected singers may not be guaranteed an immediate spot.

Performers will be notified 7-14 days in advance with available game dates throughout the season.

Additionally, the Yard Goats reserve the right to alter the schedule of performers at any time due to game-day requirements or unforeseen circumstances.
