MADISON, CT — James Patterson, one of the most prolific authors in modern publishing, is heading to Madison this May for an evening focused not on crime-solving heroes or courtroom thrillers, but on fatherhood.
Patterson will join readers for The Power of Showing Up: A Conversation with James Patterson, hosted by RJ Julia Booksellers. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at the First Congregational Church in Madison.
The conversation will center on The #1 Dad Book, Patterson’s latest release, which blends personal stories, parenting advice, and small everyday lessons. According to the event listing, “Whether it’s learning the power of a simple hug, sharing stories, or just showing up, this is an evening that celebrates the everyday moments that shape extraordinary dads.”
Patterson, best known for his blockbuster Alex Cross novels, the Women’s Murder Club, and Maximum Ride series, steps into more personal territory with this new title. He also co-authored The #1 Dad Book with his son, Jack.
Tickets are priced at $30 and include entry for one person along with a signed hardcover copy of the book. Interested attendees can purchase tickets through the RJ Julia website.
The event promises an intimate glimpse into one of America’s most recognizable storytellers as he reflects on a role he values most — being a dad.
