Killingly High School Wrestling Team celebrated for winning third straight Class S Championship at Town Council meeting.

KILLINGLY, CT — The Killingly High School Wrestling Team was formally recognized by the Town Council following its third consecutive Class S Championship win on February 22, 2025.

The achievement, which marked a three-peat victory for the team, was celebrated during the council’s meeting on Tuesday, April 8.

“Congratulations to the Killingly High School Wrestling Team for securing their third consecutive Class S Championship on February 22, 2025,” the town’s official announcement stated.

Town officials commended the team’s sustained dominance in the Class S division and acknowledged the hard work and dedication that led to the historic run.

“The team was recognized at last night’s Town Council meeting,” the town confirmed.

The team’s performance has continued to set a benchmark in Class S wrestling, and this latest title solidifies their legacy.

The Town of Killingly closed its announcement with a message of pride and continued support for the team’s accomplishments.
