PUTNAM, CT — The McGee Automotive Family is preparing to open its newest dealership, McGee Toyota of Putnam, on Monday, April 14, at 88 Providence Pike.

The new facility replaces the company’s former location in Dudley, Massachusetts, and signals a strategic move into northeastern Connecticut.

The modernized dealership offers an expanded showroom, a wider selection of Toyota vehicles, and a larger service center outfitted with state-of-the-art diagnostics.

The company has added multiple service bays and trained technicians to improve turnaround times and enhance customer care.

McGee Toyota of Putnam will feature Toyota’s full 2025 lineup, along with certified pre-owned inventory.

The move comes after more than five decades of automotive sales under the McGee name, marking a new chapter in the family-owned company’s growth.

In addition to its opening day, the dealership will hold a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony in early May, followed by a public welcome event planned for June. Both events will include Putnam-area residents, local officials, and longtime customers.

The dealership is part of the McGee Automotive Family, which operates throughout New England and is known for its longstanding reputation in automotive sales and service.
