Parker Valby Sets 5,000m NCAA Record and Wins 10,000m Distance Double

Florida’s Parker Valby achieved an extraordinary feat at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships by setting a new women’s 5,000m NCAA record and winning the 10,000m, completing an impressive distance double. Valby clocked 14:52.18 in the 5,000m, breaking the previous record, and also secured victory in the 10,000m with a time of 31:35.70.
