Romaine Beckford of Jamaica soared to new heights at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, securing the gold in the men’s high jump with a stellar performance of 2.26 meters. This victory on June 7, 2024, not only marked a season-best for Beckford but also highlighted his dominance in the event.

Beckford’s nearest competitors, Tyus Wilson and Caleb Snowden from the USA, both jumped 2.23 meters, with Wilson taking the silver based on fewer missed attempts.
