Connecticut State Police Welcome New Dispatcher Training Academy Graduates

The Connecticut State Police celebrate the graduation of 13 new dispatchers from the Dispatch Training Academy, reinforcing emergency response teams statewide.

Hartford, CT — The Connecticut State Police celebrated the graduation of 13 new dispatchers, marking the completion of their intensive eight-week training at the Dispatch Training Academy Class #11.

The graduates will now report to their assigned Troops, where they will undergo an additional eight weeks of field training.

Two of the newly certified dispatchers bring prior experience from other agencies.

New Dispatchers Frank Quadrino and Keith Gunter were honored with the Dispatcher Carrie Shaw Gold Line Award, recognizing their dedication to teamwork and excellence in training.

Commissioner Ronnell Higgins and Colonel Daniel Loughman welcomed the new class, emphasizing the crucial role dispatchers play in law enforcement. “Dispatchers are the first voice people hear in an emergency. Their role is critical,” officials said.

The graduates and their assignments are:

• Roberto Archago-Isaula – Troop H, Hartford

• Kristine Crook – Troop A, Southbury

• Keith Gunter – Troop H, Bradley International Airport

• Carson Hadley – Troop D, Danielson

• Jason Hermenau – Troop B, North Canaan

• Christopher Hernandez – Troop L, Litchfield

• Julia Mack – Troop H, Hartford

• James McCarthy III – Troop F, Westbrook

• Frank Quadrino – Troop I, Bethany

• Aretha Shortt – Troop E, Montville

• Filip Zawadzki – Troop G, Bridgeport
