PLAINFIELD, CT — A 38-year-old Plainfield man arrested after being wanted on domestic violence and arson charges. He was arrested Tuesday in Plainfield, Connecticut, following a multi-jurisdictional investigation.

Jeffrey W. Bowden was taken into custody by Plainfield police on April 22 in connection with an April 8 domestic violence incident. He faces multiple charges, including third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint, disorderly conduct, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, and interfering with an emergency call.

In addition to the Connecticut charges, Bowden was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Rhode Island, where he is accused of setting a vehicle on fire in Lincoln earlier this month. The Lincoln Police Department charged him with fourth-degree arson, a felony under Rhode Island law. He also has an active felony domestic violence warrant from the Scituate Police Department in Rhode Island.

Bowden is being held on a combined bond of $275,000 and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, April 23.
